Notorious road closed after second accident in two days

Pudding Lane, Chigwell, was closed this morning following a collision involving three vehicles.

Police were called to the accident at 09:20am which involved a black Ford KA, a silver Vauxhall Astra and a red VW Golf.

A police spokesman said: “No-one required treatment for injuries and the vehicles have been recovered."

The accident was the second in just two days to happen along Pudding Lane.

Police say that road conditions at the time were icy.

It's the lack of elderly people with undiagnosed speed humps that draws them in apparently like moths to a flame.
