A well known BBC journalist is to give a talk on his experiences working with world leaders, to launch his new book.

Novelist, journalist and Newsnight presenter, Gavin Esler, will discuss his work at Loughton Library on March 16, at 3:30pm.

Gavin will talk about iconic interviews with world leaders such as Tony Blair, Margaret Thatcher, David Cameron, President Clinton, President Carter and Israel's Shimon Peres.

His interactions with high profile leaders feature heavily in his book, ‘Lessons from the Top’ which illustrates how story telling promotes success, how leaders use stories to their own advantage, and how readers can do it too.

The talk will be a part of the Essex Book Festival which runs throughout March. A full programme of events can be found at www.essexbookfestival.org.uk.
