Only one year after opening Lauren's Way salon will leave Buckhurst Hill

East London and West Essex Guardian Series: TOWIE star salon closed after just one year TOWIE star salon closed after just one year

The shutters have come down on an ex-TOWIE star’s salon, after just one year of trading from the site.

Lauren’s Way salon on Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill, which opened in February 2012, looked abandoned this weekend, as bin bags were piled high outside, joined by a ‘shop to let’ sign.

Despite defying thugs who targeted the shop with a firebomb only 24 hours after it opened, last year, Lauren Goodger has announced the closure, although the brand will continue online.

The 26 year-old star is claiming that the reason behind the decision is that business is too big for Buckhurst Hill.

A spokesman for Lauren said: “After an extremely successful year for the Lauren’s Way brand we are looking at closing the Lauren’s Way salon in Essex.

“With the lease coming to an end we saw this as the perfect opportunity to look for a much bigger salon.”

Wow, what big news!!!

Some woman, who a majority of people have never heard of, or are not even interested in, has closed her shop!!!

Do they mean Buckhurst Hill is too big for her business? And are they looking for a bigger shop or going online? Someone should sort it out first before telling the papers.

I assume the bin bags are full of clothes people bought from there and dumped when they fell apart!!!
