A MAN has been taken to hospital following a three vehicle crash.
A Ford Escort, Vauxhall Corsa, and Mercedes van were all involved in a collision as they drove down Ongar Road, in Kelvedon Hatch, towards Ongar at 8.25am today (Thursday).
They hit each other as they slowed down to let two lorries pass on a bend.
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said a 33-year-old Brentwood man, who was a passenger in the Corsa, suffered a head injury, neck pain, lower back pain, and complained of dizziness after the incident.
The spokesman added: “He was assessed and 'packaged up' by one of the land crews, so that he was ready to be flown to Queen's Hospital, Romford, which specialises in head injuries and related trauma.”
The three male drivers of the vehicles all received minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
