We have been to a lot of concerts at Loughton Methodist Church and they are always under-attended, which is a terrible shame as they are all of a professional standard that would not be out of place on a London stage.

Shame the Guardian doesn't do more to publicise what is happening locally - we had no idea what was happening at the Loughton festival until it was nearly over and we had missed the best bits!

What is a local paper for? But then, the Guardian is no longer local! At least, not local to us here in Loughton.
