ONLY a limited number of places are left for the Epping Forest Race for Life event this year.

Already more than 3,000 women have signed up to take part in the 5k fun run at North Weald Airfield on July 15, and organisers have now extended the deadline for entries to July 13.

It is the UK's largest women only fundraising event and ladies of all ages and fitness levels are invited to take part to raise money to beat cancer.

Epping event manager Lucy Hynes said: "We are absolutely thrilled that so many women have already accepted our invitation to Race for Life in Epping. Together, they will help us create a fantastic atmosphere on the day and raise crucial funds to help beat cancer."
