A GRAND Christmas auction is to be held to raise much needed funds for The Theydon Bois Action Group.

The community organisation, which campaigns to preserve the Green Belt of Epping Forest, is staging the event at Theydon Bois Village Hall on Thursday, December 3.

The group is now appealing to residents who care about the area to lend their support.

Items on sale will appeal to all age ranges and include sports tickets, memorabilia, driving experiences and leisure gifts.

The ticket price of £6 includes a cheese supper, a glass of wine and an auction catalogue.
