KIND-HEARTED pupils and staff at Debden Park High School are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for victims of the Haitian earthquake with a series of charity events this week.
Children at the school will get a chance to battle it out at an Xbox video game event, a non-uniform day and even a penalty shoot-out with their teachers over the next few days.
Students are being encouraged to wear the colours of the Haitian flag - red, white and blue - on Thursday to help raise cash for those left homeless by the disaster.
As many as 250,000 are believed to have died and a million left homeless by January's quake.
