A PLANE crashed in a field although no-one was injured.
Police have said the 49-year-old pilot of a light aircraft which had taken off from North Weald Airfield walked away unharmed after downing his plane.
The Marchetti aircraft came down in a field in Rettenden near Chelmsford at lunchtime yesterday (March 21).
The pilot has been checked over by ambulance staff.
