PLANS for 14 flats in Buckhurst Hill, on a site currently occupied by four flats, have been refused planning permission.
Golden Homes Ltd had applied for permission to demolish the flats at 224-230 Queens Road and built a part two, part three-storey building comprising one and two-bedroom flats in their place.
what's the point of reporting on storys of new developments any more?
They all seem to get the go ahead regardless of there impact on the community. Just look at Loughton, Epping and even Buckhurst Hill all being destroyed by new developments, most of which the communities don't want and don't add anything to the area.
Might just as well concrete over the whole Epping Forest District in one go, rather then doing it bit-by-bit.

I am glad to see that the planning permission has been rejected for even more flats. It's destroying our nice area and will eventually make house prices drop dramatically.
STOP BUILDING FLATS!!
