THREE sport facilities have been identified as possible training venues for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.
A list of 39 possible Kent venues includes three from Dartford.
Dartford Judo Centre in Cotton Lane, the Princes Park Stadium in Grassbanks, and the Arrow Riding Centre in Darenth Park Avenue, have all been shortlisted.
A final list of facilities suitable for visiting teams to train in will be issued at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Dartford Council's cabinet member for sport Councillor Patsy Thurlow said: "I'm delighted we have three venues from the borough on the list.
"We have some first-class sporting facilities and are committed to supporting sport both for the community and top class athletes. It's wonderful this has been identified."
The £4.5m judo centre is home to Dartford Judo Club and is already used for national and international training.
