At 7.07am there was a substantial crowd waiting for the next Central line train shown as due in eight minutes’ time from platform 1. A station attendant advised passengers to wait on platform two as he could not be sure from where the train would leave.
As so often happens we all rushed over the bridge when the direction of the train was clear. This is dangerous and prevents incoming passengers from leaving the station.
I question whether reliable displays would be more efficient and safer?
