RESIDENTS are being asked their opinion on the development of community facilities at St Aidan's Church.

Following a survey run by the Westcourt Community Forum identifying residents' needs, the church, in St Gregory's Crescent, will be redeveloped to include meeting rooms and a new community centre on the site.

On May 8, residents will have the chance to go to the church, see the plans and give their views on the ambitious changes.

It is expected the development will cost £500,000, paid for by European Community and church funding, and will take a year to complete.

The plans will be on display at the church from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and from 7pm to 8pm on May 8.
