TWO medical wards at Kendal's Westmorland General Hospital were closed to admissions on Sunday after staff and patients were laid low by the Roto Virus.
The virus, which causes diarrhoea and vomiting, is not life threatening, and has infected people in other parts of the North West and across the UK.
By Thursday, one ward was fully open, while on the second ward some beds remained closed.
