A NEW £80,000 playground was unveiled to residents in Acton last week.
Parents and children were invited to attend the official opening yesterday of the new playground at Springfield Gardens near Horn Lane.
New additions to the children's play area, which cost £83,000, includes a large climbing structure, swings and a see-saw as well as football goal posts and seats for adults.
Cllr Leonora Thomson, deputy leader of Ealing Council, said: "The new playground is great news for the Acton area and gives children somewhere to play which is fun, exciting and safe at the same time."
The new playground is part of a £2m programme to improve and create play environments.
