BUSHEY resident Stuart Bloom has been appointed to the board of Hertsmere Primary Care Trust (PCT).
Mr Bloom, a co-ordinator for Bushey Community Carers and a member of Bushey Synagogue's management board, has been appointed a non executive director of the trust.
The former BT employee, who now runs his own management consultancy business, said: "I am very much looking forward to contributing towards the vital and important work of the PCT board and its objective of improving healthcare for all Hertsmere people.
"Also as one of my responsibilities, ensuring when appropriate that all denominations of the Jewish community are consulted with and that their views are taken into account."
