February 19, 2001 16:07: SIXTH-FORMERS at a school in Gravesend are planning to build a nature garden.
The new garden at Gravesend Grammar School for Girls, which will have a path, plants and seating, will be enjoyed by both students and staff.
Sixth-formers, led by green representative Hannah Biscombe and biology representative Sarah-Jane Mack, have raised £595 for the materials needed for the project. The students will be working with volunteers from the North West Kent Countryside Project who are providing plans and their expertise.
Dates set side for work on the garden are February 23, April 27 and May 11.
