February 27, 2001 12:23: RAM-RAIDERS smashed their way into a shop in Istead Rise and stole £200 from a cashpoint inside.
Witnesses to the raid, which took place 2.15am at the Balfour Convenience Shop, in The Parade, are being sought.
Officers believe a 4x4 car and a small car were used in the ram raid and that eight peple were involved.
Anyone who spotted a 4x4 car accompanied by a small car early on February 25 should call Detective Sergeant Gareth Davies on 01474 565167 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
