KEECH COTTAGE Childrens' Hospice has benefited from a £20,000 donation made by the staff and customers of Barclays Business Banking in Watford.
A 28-strong team of volunteers from Barclays in Clarendon Road got on their bikes to raise money for the Luton-based hospice that provides support for life-limited children and their families in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Barclays employees cycled along a route around Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire to raise funds.
Customers, friends and families sponsored them to sweat it out to the tune of over £10,000.
The bank agreed to match the funds raised under its pound for pound scheme, doubling the total.
