KENDAL shop owner Mark Duckworth, who was told byplanners that he could not install metal shutters on his conservation areashop, has been ordered to remove "unsightly" wooden boarding from hiswindows.
Enforcement action is to be taken against BargainBooze of Kirkland to remove boards protecting windows after vandalism inJuly.
Mr Duckworth is appealing against thedecision.
