KENDAL batsman Terry Hunte cracked an unbeaten 119 to help steer his side to a 64-run victory over Blackpool at Shap Road in the Bay Northern Premier League on Saturday.
Netherfield also had a fine result, defeating Fleetwood by seven wickets as South African professional Pieter Strydom took 5-34 and hit a half-century.
There was a shock when league leaders Morecambe were beaten by Preston, allowing second-placed Darwen (119 points) to go top by a point with third-placed Netherfield 21 points adrift but with the top two still to play.
