THE Lions Club is hoping to give people a smashing time by letting them destroy a collection of old crockery.
As well as letting people exercise their frustrations, smashing the china will also raise money for charity.
The Northfleet Swanscombe and Greenhithe Lions Club is now on the look out for old crockery for its china breaking stall which will feature at various events in the area. It has proved a successful way of raising money for numerous charities, and will form part of one of the Lions' most popular events the Hope Hill Rally for the physically and mentally disabled, which is on July 7, near Meopham.
If you have any old crockery you would like to donate, call 01474 814461 to arrange a collection.
