PAINTINGS went like hotcakes at an art exhibition showcasing art by pupils of Great Missenden School.
Nursery class pupils through to Year Six youngsters proudly displayed their animal paintings for parents at the exhibition in the school on Thursday morning.
Kirsten Sharp, art co-ordinator of the school in Church Sreet, was delighted with the amount of talent on show.
She said: "It really was a celebration of some amazing talent we have here at the school. All the children did some animal paintings which were then framed. They were beautiful."
Money has yet to be counted but will go towards funding new stage lighting.
Ms Sharp added: "We've got the Year Six production The Rainmaker coming up soon. We also hold gym displays there all through the year."
Plenty of wine and jazz was also enjoyed by visitors to the exhibition.
