March 8, 2001 12:21: Edward Albee's Pulitzer prize-winning play, Three Tall Women, stars Claire Kingshott, Mary Gibson and Angie Brignell. They play the young lawyer trying to sort out the affairs of a 92-year-old while her middle-aged carer arbitrates. Much to the lawyer's annoyance the old woman recounts the episodes in her life instead of concentrating on the legal issues in hand.
While telling her most painful memory the old woman suffers a stroke and cannot speak. Then a young man appears who has to be someone's son.
Three Tall Women is at the Geoffrey Whitworth Theatre, Beech Walk, Crayford, from Saturday, March 10 to Saturday, March 17.
Performances start at 7.30pm Sundays and 7.45pm Monday to Saturday.
Tickets priced £7 and £5 from the box office on 01322 526390.
