June 11, 2001 19:57: Goldsmiths College is adding Indian music to its curriculum in September as world-renowned musician Vidwan Bangalore RN Prakash joins the university.
Musicians of any kind with an interest in Indian music are welcome to apply for the course, which starts in September.
The syllabus provides hands-on experience to enable students to develop percussion skills in theory and practice and can be taken as part of the Foundation Certificate in Music or as a standalone.
