DARK nights in Dartford have a warm seasonal glow after the town's Christmas lights were officially switched on last Saturday.
Cast members from the Orchard Theatre's Jack and the Beanstalk joined the mystery guest young musical talent Declan Galbraith to switch on the lights along Lowfield, Spital and Hythe Streets.
Declan delighted hundreds of afternoon revellers before switching the festive lights on.
The afternoon's entertainment included performances from boy band tribute group G4-ORCE, Elvis Presley impersonator Danny Fisher, and St Mary Stone School choir.
Frosty the Snowman and Father Christmas added to the seasonal flavour, along with a Christmas message from Dartford mayor Councillor Margaret Eaton.
