Herts League Division Three
Last season: Seventh
Captain: Raj Ahluwalia
Ins: None
Outs: None
Key Man: Phil Costard: Joined Town mid-way through last season and immediately made his mark with a number of crucial innings. For an often run-shy Town, Costard was an invaluable signing and his runs will be crucial if the batsmen are going to back up the usual consistency from the bowlers.
Verdict: Town will be looking to build on their first impressive year in Division Three and will certainly be targeting promotion.
Despite being hit with the crippling loss of captain Morn Hoffman on the eve of the season through injury, Town are still confident of progression under Raj Ahluwalia.
Last season, Town's bowling attack was mightily impressive with Richard Doling, Dave Bushnell and Peter Hornett showing tremendous consistency. A repeat performance will be key as will an improvement from the batting line-up. Ahluwalia, Phil Costard, Mike Peacock, Phil Carter, Tim Piper and Aidan Pimm will all be looking to score the runs to bring success.
