CHILDREN have been given the chance to take part in drama workshops exploring the theme of magic.
Perform, a London drama school especially for four to seven year olds, is holding special hour-long workshops exploring music, dance and drama with the theme of the Magician's Chamber. The school aims to develop children's social skills such as building confidence, learning to communicate and co-ordination. Lucy Quick, a former actress and principal of Perform, told the Times about the unique workshops. She said: "We try to build children's confidence and communication through a series of structured games and exercises which are also fun. This is done by learning and singing songs written by our own composer and we have a new theme each school term."
