CROWD segregation is to be in place for the long-awaited Lancaster City vs Morecambe FA Trophy match on January 11.

Dolly Blues fans are advised to pick up their tickets for the game from the commercial office at Giant Axe or the either of the post offices at Beaumont Road and Ullswater Road.

Seat tickets are only available from Giant Axe. There are no credit card facilities, so only cash or a cheque supported by a valid banker's card will be accepted.

Shrimps supporters are asked to buy their tickets at Christie Park, where they are due to go on sale after Christmas.

The clubs are emphasising that the decision to segregate is down to safety reasons and fears that, in the light of likely bad weather, fans are likely to head for cover, causing a danger of crushing. It has been taken on the advice of police and council, and there is no suggestion that supporters will come into conflict.

This week sees City take on Barrow away today (Boxing Day) before home games against Whitby Town on Saturday and the return with Barrow on New Year's Day.
