December 5, 2000 11:05: DARTFORD Borough Council is reminding residents to check the draft register of electors to ensure they are eligible to vote during the next two years - especially as a General Election could be in the offing.
The draft register will be available to be examined by the public until December 16 at the Civic Centre in Dartford and all libraries and sub-post offices in Dartford borough.
Only people listed on the 2001 register will be allowed to vote between February 16, 2001 and February 15, 2002.
Any errors or omissions should be reported immediately to the electoral registration office at Dartford Council by calling 01322 343426.
