December 8, 2000 12:16: IDEAS and information on how to help the environment are available in Bexley Councils latest Local Agenda 21 report.
As well as information on economic, environmental and social issues produced in an easy-to-follow format for all ages, this third report also contains a Simple Steps leaflet.
This sets out a range of measures everyone can take to save money, improve health and protect the environment.
The report explains what Local Agenda 21 is, what the LA21 focus groups does, Bexleys performance in key areas such as air quality and housing, information about events such as the environmental challenge competition and the annual environmental conference and Bexleys beacon status for waste management.
The report is available from all Bexley libraries and council information centres.
