Debaters Nick Devlin and Richard Goodman, from Bishop's Stortford High School, won the International Schools Mace after representing England in the English Speaking Union debating competition final.
A panel of international debaters awarded the duo the Silver Mace after declaring them the best young debaters in the UK.
The upper sixth formers were third in the Oxford Union debating event earlier this year, and came second in the Cambridge Union competition.
