Kendal Rugby Union Club try to play the oft-postponed National League 2 match against Sedgley Park at Mint Bridge on Saturday (3pm kick-off). The weather has ruled out the fixture three times already this season.
The Cumbria Rams play a Kendal Veterans side (1pm) as a pipe-opener to the main match.
Second-from-bottom Kendal will be looking for nothing more than a win as they try to scrape their way out of relegation trouble with just four games remaining.
Kendal Town FC are away to Leek Town in Unibond League Division 1 on Saturday (3pm kick-off), and also face a trip to promotion contenders Witton Albion on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).
The Coniston 14 road race attracts a massive field of more than 1,500 runners, who set out from John Ruskin School on Saturday at 11am.
