FOUR serving police officers are set to appear in court on charges relating to a brawl in Bromley High Street.
The incident took place near Bromley South station, on September 27, last year.
All four were scheduled to appear at Bow Street Magistrates' Court yesterday.
PC Liam Thomas Herzberg, aged 35, and Sergeant Robert Charles Wiggins, aged 36, with the Territorial Support Group (TSG), based at Catford, and PC Darren Scott Duffy, aged 36, of the mounted branch were charged with affray on January 31.
Catford-based PC Steven Lloyd, aged 34, also with the TSG, was charged with ABH and affray on January 31.
The charges result from an investigation by the MPS Directorate for Professional Standards, after police were called to the fight involving several men.
A fifth man, Paul Belcher, aged 22, a stonemason of Isabella Drive, Farnborough, who was charged with affray on February 5, was also due to appear.
