A LONDON Assembly member has been re-selected as the Conservative candidate for Bromley in the next election.
Bob Neill, London Assembly member for Bromley and Bexley, will campaign on transport, environment and planning.
The 50-year-old, who is chairman of the Assembly's planning committee, says the elections are also an opportunity to vote out London Mayor Ken Livingstone. He said: "The 2004 elections are a real opportunity to get rid of Livingstone and his incompetent administration which have let down residents of Bromley and Bexley in the key issues of transport, environment and planning."
Mr Neill will have to battle Lib Dem Duncan Borrowman, 42, to keep his seat.
The Labour candidate has not yet been announced.
