Reigate Priory are to play host again to an array of test players from around the world as they take on the famous Lashings side in a charity challenge.
On Sunday July 27, they hope to attract a large crowd to their picturesque Park Lane ground in Reigate. And this year they are pledging their support to the Ben Holioake Fund.
The day has the attracted the generous backing of main sponsor Oak Tree press, and other companies are supporting the day.
The Lashings side is as strong as ever, with star attraction Australian test star Mark Waugh and two former West Indies captains in Richie Richardson and Jimmy Adams.
The Zimbabwean fast bowler Henry Olonga will be joined by Stuart Carlisle and Grant Flower, and also by New Zealander Craig Macmillan, and the elegant former West Indian test opener Sherwin Campbell.
As part of the fund-raising exercise, there will be a charity auction which is attracting a variety of exciting lots. Other organisations have the chance to show their support, or donate prizes for the auction. Contact Simon Wickham on 01737 240691 for more.
The game starts at 11.30am, with gates open from 10.30am. Entrance is £2 for adults, £1 for children.
