I am afraid I could not agree with it all.

Surely it is futile that when two political parties agree with each other they should fight each other, just because that's how things have been done in the past. It is not productive for the country or sensible.

Where the Liberal Democrats disagree with the Labour Government, they have been leading the fight -- such as the struggle for fairer pensions and the fight to stop the closure of many of the country's rural post offices.

Mr Chant says that it is only the Conservative Party that is the real tangible opposition.

Unfortunately, this doesn't explain why the Conservatives recently lost their 50th safest seat at Romsey.

The Liberal Democrats fought the by-election on the issues of the day and their principles which is why they were victorious. Fortunately, many people have not forgotten what it was like under the last Conservative administration.
