Following superb performances in the previous three weeks, Hertsmere U11s went to champions-elect Hemel Aces in good spirits, but expecting a very tough double-header.
Unfortunately, the boys' cause in the first game was not helped by refereeing decisions that gifted Hemel three goals. On the odd occasion when Hertsmere did threaten, efforts by Baker and Walsh went just wide. The first match finished 5-0.
In the second game, Hertsmere showed more fight and only trailed at half-time due to two superb finishes by the home side. After the break Hertsmere regularly frustrated Hemel, but another great finish and two soft goals completed a 5-0 rout.
