IF you have ever wondered what goes on inside a police station, now is your chance to find out.
Bexleyheath police station, in Arnsberg Way, is flinging open its doors on June 23 and inviting everyone in.
You can meet the local bobbies, tour the station, including the custody suite and the cells and sit in on a pretend police briefing given to officers before they go out on patrol.
Specialist officers will be there with their dogs and horses and scenes of crime officers will demonstrate how they examine a crime scene.
Children can have their fingerprints taken, have a look at police uniforms through the ages and have their faces painted.
There will also be a bouncy castle, refreshments, a balloon race and advice on crime prevention.
Drop in any time between 10am and 4pm on the day.
