JAPANESE crafts and circus skills are just two of the activities on offer at a London youth day aimed at youngsters with dyslexia.
The event, for young people aged nine to 18, will be held at the conference centre at Guy's Hospital, London Bridge, this Saturday,
It will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and costs £10.
Throughout the day there will be plenty to do, including the opportunity to improve study skills, take part in team challenges and to talk and share information and experiences.
“This is a superb chance for young dyslexics to spend time with others who are the same age and understand how it feels to be dyslexic,” said organiser Jane Myers, project co-ordinator at the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
“We know that young dyslexic people benefit greatly from coming together.
“Sharing their experiences with each other gives them a sense of belonging as well.”
