A BOOK giving businesses handy hints on how save money from their rubbish has just been launched.
The booklet, Careless Waste Costs Money, published by green group Waste Alert Bromley and Bexley, explains how to cut waste and increase recycling.
Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, is one of the organisations already using Waste Alert.
Hospital support services manager Barbara Whitfield said: “I am delighted to say a cardboard recycling scheme is saving us £2,500 a year and I am keen to see more recycling introduced throughout the hospital.”
Bob Neill, Greater London Authority member for Bromley and Bexley, launched the guide this week. For a free copy call Renia Szal on 020 8315 2502.
