LADIES another chance to indulge yourself at the Pampering Day being held at the Adult Education Centre, Bartholomew Tipping Way from 11am to 4.30pm tomorrow with stalls and all sorts of therapy and it's all in aid of South Bucks Young Carers.

COME and support your village fete on the Common on Saturday, June 7 which will be opened at midday by the Junior School Band. During the day there'll be displays of country dancing by the children, also line dancing. Traditional Morris dancing, a children's corner with donkey rides, roundabout and fun games, candy floss. There's a Fun Dog show (entry on the day), helicopter rides and a craft tent with weaving, quilting and more. New this year a jousting display as well as judo. Motorcycles and vintage cars will be on there for you to see and the police, fire service and Territorial Army will be represented.

A disco at Longburrow at 7.30pm to midnight will bring the evening to a close so ring Jan on 01494 482454 if you're interested. Refreshments will be available at both the Methodist and St Peter & St Paul Church, a Camera Club display will be on view at the Methodist Church and organ music will be played during the day at the Parish Church, with requests invited. As usual stalls from all the local village organisations will be on the Common so come along and enjoy the day.

STOKENCHURCH Junior Football Club's teams have all had a very successful season and the club's presentation evening will be held on Sunday at 8pm in the Stokenchurch Centre. The AGM will be on Monday at 8pm at the Cricket Club to which parents of players and others interested in the club are most welcome.

BEAHIVE Melodic Jazz holds its last session until the autumn on Saturday, June 21, featuring Melodic Jazz in the Youth Area of the Community Centre in Bartholomew Tipping Way. Tickets cost £5 and if you want to reserve yours phone 07958 371857 soon, numbers are limited.
