ST PETER'S FC have it all to do after managing only a draw against Old Parmiterians on Saturday - one of the sides St Peter's have to overtake if they are to stave off relegation from the World Class Homes Premier League.

Frankie Jowle and Mossaf Rattab combined for Elroy Richardson to put his side in front mid-way through the half, but gradually the tide turned against them as Eldridge began to be a greater influence in the game.

His shot four minutes before the break forced a superb stop from 17-year-old keeper Ben Callum, but the striker made no mistake just after the restart, levelling the scores despite Callum getting a foot to his effort, which looped up over the keeper and into the net.

"He (Chris Eldridge) was very dangerous," Saints manager John Welch said. "He ran at us whenever he got the ball and panicked us. He was the best player on the pitch and actually looked out of place he was so good."

However, Welch attributes the backs-to-the-wall second-half to the loss of the midfield, where Matt Day and the attacking Danny Butcher were both off-colour.

"It's the first time in a long time we've been over-run in the middle of the park."
