SHEEP rustlers have been at work in South Lakeland stealing six half bred mew sheep valued at £100 each from a field near Old Town, Kirkby Lonsdale. A farmer from Mansergh reported the theft to police on Monday. Police have also reported the theft of a Honda 300cc quad bike and an Ifor Williams trailer, registration number K351 CEC, from a barn at a Kirkby Lonsdale farm between 5pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday, January 21. The property was valued at £4,000.
