A LIFE-SIZED T Rex was a roaring success at a interactive dinosaur education day at Burford School, in Marlow Bottom.
The gigantic model was one of several predatory props used to breathe life into the prehistoric studies of pupils aged between four and 11.
More than 420 children enjoyed hour-long sessions organised by Destination Education an educational enterprise team based in Sydney, Australia.
The event on Monday introduced pupils to replicas of Jurassic giants the Tyrannosaurus rex and the allosaurus, as well as their herbivorous peers.
Phil Cooney, of Destination Education, said: "They learn about what a dinosaur is, what they were like and about the evolution of dinosaurs."
Christine Salter, who co-ordinates science at the school in Marlow Bottom Road, said: "It is the year of science so we are really trying to push the subject.
"Everyone has been raving about it adults, staff and the children.
"It has been terribly exciting."
