A 27-year-old man has received a six-year jail term for committing two knifepoint robberies in September last year.
Darren Antonio Stubbs, from Wandsworth, held a carving knife to the face and side of an employee at Selhurst British Rail Depot, on September 30 last year, before making off with his wallet and cash.
Four days earlier he had used the knife to threaten a mini cab driver and steal his car in Clapham after calling for the cab from a telephone.
No injury was caused in either robbery, but the victim of the Selhurst robbery suffered from flashbacks for a fortnight after the incident.
Stubbs was found guilty of both robberies by a Kingston Crown Court jury on March 3, who heard of his criminal convictions going back a decade, including a three-year sentence in 1997 for another knifepoint robbery.
He was arrested last October after police followed him as he left a crack house and drove off in the stolen car.
