A group of women who work in the finance department at Shirley Oaks Hospital have signed up to the army for a day.
The new recruits are taking part in The Anthony Nolan Trust Barmy Army Challenge Day on April 6.
Kim Wright hopes her team from the hospital in Shirley Oaks Village will raise hundreds of pounds: "The challenge sounded like fun. We usually put ourselves in for everything and anything. It is for a good cause and we hope to raise over £500."
The Barmy Army Challenge is taking place at the Army Training Regiment at Pirbright, near Woking, where teams of four will tackle an army assault course.
