LAKE District planners have thrown out ascheme to put up a wind turbine in the garden of a home atAyside.
They argued Mr J.
Stephens's plan for 6.5metres high turbine at Branscar Fold would be unneighbourly, even thoughthere were no objections from nearby residents.
South LakelandDistrict Council environmental health officers had recommended refusal,saying noise generated by the turbine could be intrusive and cause astatutory nuisance.
