DISABLED people have praised council services in a recent survey.
Eight out of 10 said they were offered clear and helpful advice and rated Lewisham Social Services' occupational therapy department as good to excellent.
The OT team assesses the needs of the disabled and provides equipment for them to live independently in their own homes.
OT manager Sue Whitehorn said: "This much-needed service is a lifeline for many people and we are delighted most people are happy with the help they are offered.
"I am grateful to everyone who took time out to complete the questionnaire."
