A WARNING has gone out to the residents of Orpington the Romans are coming!
But there is no need to fear, these are friendly invaders in the form of Roman centurion Secundus and his sister Agrippina who are visiting Crofton Roman Villa.
They will be at the villa house on August 31, from 10am to 5pm, to talk about what life was really like 2,000 years ago.
There will be a Roman fashion display, a talk on weapons and battle tactics and a sample of Roman games.
Manager of the Crofton Road Villa Brian Philp said: "This is an excellent opportunity for local children to experience Roman life and activities."
Tickets are £1.50 and £1.
